The Conservation District Annual Dinner celebrating 60 years was held on Thursday, February 16, 2017 at the Pleasantview Alliance Church.  Following a buffet luncheon, Senator Michelle Brooks presented a PA Senate Citation to the Crawford County Conservation District Board of Directors for their commitment to conservation in Crawford County for 60 years.  A PA House of Representatives Citation was also presented to the Directors on behalf of the offices of Kathy Rapp, Parke Wentling and Brad Roae.  Other awards went to the Pyma Love family for Conservation Farmers of the Year, Darran Crabtree for Conservation Educator of the Year and several municipalities for their work with the Dirt, Gravel and Low Volume Roads Program.  The festivities ended with a special program on the Dust Bowl by Tom Naples of Buffalo New York.  The District Board and Staff would like to thank everyone that attended and wishes everyone a successful 2017.DSC_0856
